An amethyst cluster brooch. The foil-back oval-shape amethyst cross, with similarly-cut amethyst intervals. Length 4.7cms. Weight 15.4gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. There are scratches to the brooch in keeping with overall wear. The back casing of the brooch is late 19th century, with the amethyst and foil backing added at a later date, the settings appear secure. The amethysts vary in shade, some with a weaker saturation of colour, there is abrasion to the facet edges of some visible with magnification. The back pin and catch are replacements.
