A mid 19th century gold snake necklace. The garnet cabochon head, with red-gem eyes, suspending a heart-shape garnet cabochon drop, to the tapered woven-link chain. Length 38cms. Weight 14.2gms.

Condition Report

Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with age. One red-gem eye is deficient. Light bruising and minor kinks can be seen to the woven chain. The garnet cabochons are well matched. Please see the Important Notice for Purchasers in our catalogue for coloured gemstones.
