Condition Report
Overall condition fair. The necklace has been put together from a series of early 20th century components, the floral clusters have been added to the chain with visible lead solder to the back of the floral links, where the chain has been attached. The heart again has been attached to the piece and is not original. The diamond is bright, individual size and/or setting prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment.
There are scratches and areas of discolouration to the necklace in keeping with the age of the piece. The split pearls vary in condition and colour, with blisters and imperfections, easily visible to some. The gold to the floral clusters is a different shade. Clasp stamped SS 15. The clasp is secure. Some of the split pearls may need to be secured, the pearls to the floral clusters are possibly complete replacements.
