Overall condition fair. One of the panels to the cufflinks is dented, with overall scratches. The central figure of eight links and the circular links are wearing thin where the links have worn together. The sphere to the dress stud has possibly been added at a later date. There is dirt and wear to the buttons, there are cracks to the white enamel. The sale of ivory, tortoiseshell and other materials derived from endangered species is limited by CITES regulations to 'worked' pieces dating prior to 1947, and the export of such pieces outside the EU would require and export licence to be obtained from DEFRA.
