Lot Description
A lapis lazuli and cultured pearl necklace. The faceted lapis lazuli drop, to the circular-cut diamond and cultured pearl surmount, suspended from an alternating cultured pearl and lapis lazuli bead belcher-link chain. Length 42cms. Weight 6.2gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. Lapis lazuli untested for natural colour origin. Light nicks visible. The cultured pearls have a grey to silver hue. Light blemishes and blisters visible. The cultured pearls are heavily off round with elongated growth to the ends. Clasp stamped 9c. Without the aid of laboratory equipment, it has not been possible to determine if these cultured pearls are from a fresh or saltwater source.
