Lot Description

A late Victorian 15ct gold garnet and split pearl ring. The oval-shape garnet, to the circular-shape garnet shoulders, with split pearl accents and scroll engraved band. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1872. Weight 2.2gms.

Overall condition fair. There are scratches to the ring in keeping with the age of the ring. There is some abrasion to the facet edges of the garnets, one appears loose with the setting. There are blisters and wear to the split pearls. There is damage to the back of the central cluster, where a corner has broken off. The inner hallmark is clear. Ring size R.
