ROLEX - an 18k gold automatic gentleman's Oyster Perpetual Date wrist watch circa 1972, the champagne tone sunburst effect dial with hourly applied gilt batons, date aperture positioned to three o'clock, all surrounded by a minute track, fluted bezel, tonneau shaped case, reference number 1503, serial number 5004718, fitted to a non-original brown lizard strap with signed plated pin buckle, signed calibre 1570. Case width 34mm. With box.

Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date wrist watch, movement is currently functioning, movement has light scratches and marks from use, dial appears in general good condition, there are some light marks to the date wheel, hands are damaged, there are scratches to the hands, luminous paint work to the hands appears heavily discoloured and lost shape, hands are showing possible water damage, glass is scratched from use, case has medium scratches from use, case back is scratched from use, case back is tough to screw flush to case which will require attention for future use, bezel is scratched from use, watch is fitted to a lizard strap which is in alsmost new condition, pin buckle is scratched and discoloured.
This lot comes with box only.
Due to the opening of the case back we recommend that this lot be resealed by an authorised technician before use near water.
