Lot Description
A stainless steel manual wind gentleman's military issue wrist watch by CWC, the black dial with hourly applied white Arabic numerals, bordered by a minute track with luminous divisions, tonneau shaped case with British broad arrow and reference W10-6645-99 523-8290, fitted to a green "NATO" nylon strap, signed ETA calibre 2750. Case width 35mm.

A CWC wrist watch, movement is currently functioning, tiny marks to the dial, residue or grease on the dial by nine o'clock, numerals and luminous divisions beginning to show signs of wear, small areas of discolouration on hands, luminous panels on hands are still working, but are beginning to discolour, and a small part of the panel on the minute hand is missing, glass is noticeably scratched, some of the scratches may polish out with difficulty, deeper marks may remain, case has medium scratches and small scuffs, areas of light pitting, would benefit from a clean as residue is visible, a few heavier dints and scratches, crown shows signs of rubbing and has dints, strap is in good condition, only minimal signs of wear and creasing, pin buckle and keepers are lightly scratched.
Due to the opening of this case back we recommend that this watch is sealed by an authorised technician before use near water.
