A possibly George III gilt key wind pair case pocket watch, the white dial with hourly applied black Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, circular shaped cases, the inner gilt, the outer case made of tortoise shell, fitted with a signed full plate fusee and chain movement with verge escapement and pierced balance cock. Outer case diameter 51mm.

Pair case pocket watch, movement is not functioning and will require significant attention to get back into full working order, dial is heavily damaged showing noticeable chip, cracks, scratches and dark marks, one hand is missing and the other hand is heavily damaged, glass is noticeably scratched, case has medium scratches and heavy discolouration, case back is heavily scratched, bow and pendant is scratched and disocloured, outer case shows scratches and marks, studs are discoloured,

Due to the opening of the case back we recommend that this lot be resealed by an authorised technician before use near water.
