Lot Description
A 20th century 9ct gold keyless wind open face pocket watch, the white enamel dial with stepped centre, hourly applied Arabic numerals, bordered by a minute track, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, round case hallmarked Birmingham 1918, presentation engraving to the rear, fitted with an unsigned movement with a club tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 49mm. Total weight 82gms.

Condition Report
A pocket watch, movement is currently functioning, general tarnishing light scratches and debris to the movement, dial has tiny marks and light scratches, a few areas of light discolouration, light pitting to the subsidiary dial, hands are lightly scratched with areas of discolouration, glass is lightly scratched, visible chip and a few tiny chips to the edge, case has medium scratches and dints, areas of pitting, score marks to the edge of the case probably caused on previous attempts to open the case, crown shows noticeable signs of rubbing, presentation inscription to the case back that reads 'FROM EDUCATIONAL DEPT. HULL CO-OP SOCIETY LTD TO Mr J. H Scarlett IN APPRECIATION OF SERVICES.'
