Lot Description
A 20th century silver keyless wind half hunter pocket watch signed J.W. Benson, the white dial with hourly applied Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, plain round case with blue Roman chapter ring to the front, hallmarked London 1937, fitted with a signed movement with a club tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 50mm. With box.

A pocket watch, movement is currently functioning, general tarnishing, tiny marks to the dial, some of which may be debris, a few light scratches, hands are scratched and discoloured, glass is lightly scratched, may polish out, glass in front cover has medium scratches, case has medium scratches and scuffs, dints and small areas of pitting, area of visible heavy scuffs on the edge of the case, case would benefit from a clean, crown shows signs of rubbing.
