Lot Description
A George III silver key wind pair case pocket watch by James Davey, London, the white enamel dial with black Arabic numeral hour marks surrounded by an outer minute track, plain cases, hallmarked London 1803, makers mark RP, fitted with a signed frosted gilt full plate fusee and chain movement with verge escapement and pierced balance cock. Outer case diameter 56mm.

Condition Report
A pocket watch, movement is not currently functioning, escapement appears to be at fault, tarnishing and scratches to the movement, dial has marks and scratches, a few noticeable chips to the edge, circular marks to the dial, perhaps caused by the hands, hands are marked and discoloured, hour hand is loose, glass is scratched and would benefit from a clean, what appear to be bubbles in an area on the glass, case has numerous significant dents, medium scratches, dints and areas of pitting, areas of discolouration, outer case is noticeably discoloured and dented, medium scratches, areas of pitting.
