Lot Description
A Victorian silver key wind pair case pocket watch by T. Allen, Barnsley, the white dial with hourly applied black Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, circular shaped plain case, hallmarked London 1872, fitted with a signed fusee and chain movement with verge escapement and pierced balance cock. Outer case diameter 58mm.

Condition Report
A pocket watch, movement is currently functioning, movement is dirty, detritus and tarnishing, requires a service, dial has marks and is noticeably cracked, light scratches, hands are marked and discoloured, hands are not parallel to each other and are touching, minute hand gets caught on the hour hand, glass has medium scratches and scuffs, would benefit from a clean, case is pitted and has medium scratches and scuffs, dints and significant denting, areas of discolouration, crude engraving and signs of rubbing to the case back, pendant and bow are scratched and have dints, outer case has medium scratches and small dents, tiny dints and areas of discolouration, outer case is A/F as hinge is broken.
