A Victorian 18ct gold key wind open face pocket watch, the gilt dial with decorated centre, hourly applied Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track with outer decoration, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, round case with decoration to the front and rear edge, engine turned band, hallmarked Chester 1840, fitted with an unsigned full plate fusee and chain movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 48mm. Total weight 99gms.

Open face pocket watch, movement is currently functioning, dial shows noticeable discolouration and marks, hourly markers are scratched, hands are noticeably discoloured, marked and scratched, glass is scratched and showing residue and dirt from previous use, case has medium scratches from use, case back is scratched from use, there is noticeable rubbing to the design of the case, side of the case shows marks,pendant is scratched and rubbed, bow is scratched and scuffed but loose, pin to hold bow into place is too large and clearly visible.
This lot does not come with box or papers.
