Georges Poitevin. A pair of late 19th century French continental porcelain tiles or plaques of rectangular shaped form, each with a white glazed ground and hand-painted decoration, depicting a gentleman holding aloft a dove and a lady holding a rose. Each signed to lower right hand corner, 8.5" (21.5cm) high x 7" (18cm) wide

Each has surface rubbing to paint with some faint areas, scratches and marks. Signatures are a little indistinct and rubbed. Frames have losses and damage.
