An Oriental blue and white porcelain fish bowl. Of typical shape, the flat rim decorated with blossom, over a 'Greek key' frieze, a band of flowerheads in cloud-shaped cartouches, and an extensive landscape scene with riverside pavilions and a bridge, all above a frieze of waves, unmarked and unglazed beneath, 14.5" diameter x 12" high, (37cm x 30.5cm).

Star crack to base. A few potting flaws (iron-coloured stains, one with slight depression, some 'blistered') to body. Some red paint near bottom, should remove. Some general scratching and wear (eg rim) but no major damage.
