A Japanese Meiji period ivory zushi or travelling shrine. Of typical pagoda form with double doors enclosing a seated Buddha, over fenced terrace and stepped base on a hardwood plinth, 10.75", (27cm) high overall, together with a pair of okimono of peasants, 6.25", (16cm) high, (3).

1. Glue residue to roof edges, Some old grain cracking to a few sections. One edge of plinth is scuffed.
