Lot Description

Telford, Thomas et al, "The Several Plans and Drawings referred to in the Third Report from the Select Committee upon the Improvement of the Port of London", printed by Luke Hansard, Great Turnstile, Lincoln's Inn Fields, 28th July 1800.
Comprising a complete set of twenty-one fine double page (and larger) engraved plans and diagrams, the largest 73" wide, some hand-coloured, to include examples by Thomas Telford & James Douglas (4), Ralph Dodd (6), and George Dance (7) amongst others, the original blue paper covers inscribed to reverse "John Robinson Esq" in sepia ink in an early 19th century hand, within later half calf and blue cloth.
