"Elegant Extracts", 18 volumes, six each of Poetry, Prose and Epistles, in fine gilt stamped wine morocco bindings, John Sharpe, circa 1810, housed in a purpose-built brass-inlaid mahogany miniature cabinet bookcase, the moulded top centred by an inlaid lyre (matching that to the cover of each volume), over glazed brass-strung door on ogee bracket feet, 15", (38cm) high.

Condition Report
Cabinet could well be original to the books but has been French polished so appears reproduction prior to closer inspection. Books appear to be in good order but are uncollated and are sold as seen. The original fore-edge paintings are individually listed to the endpaper of each volume but these paintings are not present.
