Lot Description
An early 20th century Steiff soft toy modelled as a tabby cat, with wide pricked ears (one with original Steiff badge), green glass eyes and stitched pointed snout. The front and back legs upon metal axles fitted with stained wooden wheels, length from nose to end of tail, 11" (28cm) height, 6.5" (16.5cm), together with an early 20th century gold plush soft toy modelled as a bear, with boot button eyes and stitched pointed snout, upon a steel base fitted with spoked cast metal wheels (one missing), length from nose to end of tail 7.75" (19.5cm)

Condition Report
Steiff cat - one ear is hanging. Holes and repairs to back and top of neck. Overall very dirty. Some staining, stripes are faded.
Bear has many bald spots and fur is very thin in places. Has split on seam of underbelly and some signs of crude stitching. Wheel missing to base.
