Lot Description

Four bubble sextants. Comprising: a Henry Hughes & Son 'Marine Bubble Sextant', Ser. No. 147, with textured black finish, in mahogany case with original certificate and a 1988 bill of sale from Kelvin Hughes, the fitted box 11", (28cm) square, with hide strap;  together with a Mk. IX bubble sextant in slope-front box, and two Mk. IX A examples similar, (4).

First appears to be in good presentable order with light wear to box commensurate with age. Three slope-front examples are all worn/used with edge chipping to boxes. Contents not recently cleaned/used and are sold as seen for renovation.
