A pair of coastal marine paintings a tall masted sailing ship,
sailing boats and fishing boats on a calm sea, the other rough,
both around the same promontory with buildings,
both signed and dated 1886 lower right
19.25" x 29.25" (49cm x 74.5cm)

Condition Report
Neither is re-lined. Rough sea has a 3" square patch verso and over-painting to sky. Calm sea is in better condition but appears to have been retouched to right side of sky. Good quality modern swept frames
