"Madame le Fevre", an oval portrait of a young lady
depicted bust-length in three-quarter profile,
wearing a blue hair-band and blue dress with lace trim,
inscribed and ascribed to Cosway in pencil in a later hand to the card backing,
2.75" x 2.25", (7cm x 5.7cm)
in brass frame with loop suspension.
