A late 19th century inlaid rosewood-cased miniature longcase clock. Having a 3.5" white Roman dial with Breguet hands, the single-train movement with vertically-mounted lever platform escapement to a cut-away backplate with oval stamp E.G.L., the case with turned finial and break-arched hood over bat's wing spandrels, the trunk inlaid with a lancet-arched panel of an urn issuing plants, between four knopped freestanding columns on a short base with conforming inlay, 17.25", (44cm) high.
