Lot Description

A mid 19th century French inlaid rosewood mantel clock. Henry Marc a Paris, circa 1850, having a 4-inch white Roman dial with Breguet hands, inscribed as above, the two-train movement outside countwheel-striking the half hours on a bell, stamped as above and numbered 12600, the case of ogee 'keyhole' form with profuse inlay framing a shaped lenticle enclosing a flowerhead-cast pendulum, on ogee base with wavy apron, 17.75", (44.5cm) high.
