An unusual Indian carved ebony folding table. The moulded rectangular top finely and densely carved with a central flowerhead amidst arabesques, within multiple borders of shaped mihrabs or niches, flowerheads and foliate scrollwork, above a wavy gallery, raised on a substantial stand, two sides hinged for folding, with twin balustrades flanking registers of pierced foliate panels and of further shaped niches, 31" x 28" x 27" high, (79cm x 71cm x 68.5cm).

Condition Report
Some age cracking to edges of top which radiate inwards. A couple of small losses to apron. Top is rather dry.
Spandrels to three of the niches of the stand and depleted or missing. Balustrades in good order.
Overall - some losses but good quality.
