A Regency mahogany chiffonier of narrow proportions. Circa 1820, the superstructure having a gilt foliate scroll cresting, with a reel-edged shelf on conforming S-scroll supports, the lower stage having a rectangular top with gadroon-carved gilt edge, over blind-fronted drawer between anthemion motifs, supported by free-standing Corinthian columns flanking a cabinet door with brass overlapping navette grille, enclosing a shelf, the whole on concave inverted breakfront base with reel-carved edge on sunken castors, 28" x 17.5" x 50" high, (71cm x 44.5cm x 127cm), with key.
