Lot Description
An Edwardian 15ct gold diamond locket. Of circular outline, with central old-cut diamond star-shape accent. Hallmarks for Chester, 1908. Diameter 2cms. Weight 4.9gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair. There are scratches to the locket in keeping with the age of the locket. The hallmark is worn yet legible. There are several chips to the diamond visible with the unaided eye, individual size and/or setting prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Estimated diamond weight 0.05ct.
The diamond is a possible replacements and appears quite small for the setting. All claws are loose and would need to be secured. There is damage to the inner fabric of the locket. The locket closes securely, it is a little difficult to open.
