Lot Description
An early 20th century 15ct gold seed pearl, diamond and enamel brooch. Of openwork design, the three seed pearls, each within an vari-coloured enamel foliate surround, to the old-cut diamond accents and white enamel oval-shape border. Estimated total diamond weight 0.10ct. Length 3.1cms. Weight 6.4gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Some surface wear in keeping with age. Evidence of re-enamelling. Tarnishing/discolouration to the reverse. Some areas of wear and chipping to the enamel. Seed pearls creamy white colour, with rose and greenish overtones. Fairly good skins with some surface blemishes. Fairly good lustre. Diamonds fairly bright and well matched. Individual size prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Scattered inclusions seen. Diamonds in good to fair condition with some abrasion and nibbles, one has a small chip. Fitting in good working order.
