The lot is in fair overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The pin hinge end of the brooch has been broken and shortened slightly with a two emerald section deficient and a later safety chain loop added, soft solder visible to the area. The diamonds appear bright and well matched. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. Typical inclusions including some surface reaching features. Moderate abrasions. The seed pearls are moderately well matched, slight variations in lustre and body colour, some possible replacements.
