Lot Description
A mid 20th century continental gold and platinum diamond, paste and split cultured pearl bar brooch. Of openwork design, the split cultured pearl, to the circular-shape colourless paste and rose-cut diamond scrolling bar. Length 7.6cms. Weight 7.4gms. With associated case.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair. There are scratches and dents to the brooch, there is a significant dent to the edging of the frame. There are blisters, blemishes and scratches to the central split pearl. There are chips to many of the rose-cut diamonds, there is abrasion to the facet edges of some of the colourless paste. Some settings may need to be secured. The box is scuffed and worn, it does not fit the brooch well.
