A mid 19th century gold foil back gem set cluster ring. Designed as an oval-shape foil back garnet, within a split pearl surround, to the tapered band. Weight 4.9gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The band has been repaired/resized with minor discolouration to the band and near the shoulders. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue for Coloured Gemstones. The garnet is foil back and appears a medium deep purple hue. Minor abrasion, some scratches to the mount. The split pearls are significantly worn. Ring size P.
