Lot Description
An early 20th century continental gold and silver cultured pearl and diamond brooch. The cultured pearl within a old-cut diamond heart-shape surround, to the similarly-cut diamond stylised bow sides, suspending a cultured pearl and diamond drop. Brooch fitting deficient. Estimated total diamond weight 1.20ct. Length 3cms. Weight 4.1gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair. The back brooch fitting is deficient, there is some yellow discolouration to the one side of the stylised bow, from possible repair work. There is a crack to the nacre of the suspended cultured pearl, there are shallow blemishes to the nacre of both. The diamonds are bright, there are chips to the girdle of many visible with magnification. There is black discolouration to the silver setting. Some settings may need to be secured.
