Overall condition fair. Some surface wear in keeping with general wear. The brooch has some large scratches and evidence of significant repair to the reverse. There is soft solder in several places. The necklace has been repaired in several places and one of the drops has been soldered so that it sits slightly differently to the other. Diamonds have a bluish hue due to backings. Settings prevent accurate colour/clarity assessment. Inclusions seen under 10x magnification. Diamonds generally in good to fair condition with some abrasion and nibbles, some are in poor condition with surface chips. Due to the closed back settings and nature of the rose-cut it is not possible to calculate a total diamond weight. Based on the surface spread alone, they appear to occupy the same surface space as diamonds with an estimated total weight of 3.30cts, however we cannot gauge the depth, this estimated weight does not reflect the true weight of the diamonds in any way. Necklace clasp stamped 12K.
