A mid 20th century continental gold amethyst intaglio and enamel brooch. The replacement oval-shape amethyst intaglio, carved to depict the side profile of a lady, within a white and black scrolling enamel surround. Length 2.9cms. Weight 9.7gms.

Overall condition fair. There is a significant chip to the amethyst. The amethyst intaglio is a replacement. There are several chips and areas of damage to the enamel.
