A late 19th century 15ct gold diamond locket. The oval hinged panels, with old-cut diamond highlight, opening to reveal two vacant compartments. Estimated diamond weight 0.25ct. Length 6.1cms. Weight 24.9gms.

Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general age. The weight of the locket includes the base metal centre. The diamond is bright and lively. A surface reaching fracture is visible under 10x magnification. A small chip is also visible.
