A late 19th century garnet padlock. Of heart-shape outline, the rectangular-shape foil-backed garnet, to the scrolling surmount with vacant glazed panel to reverse. Length 2.8cms. Weight 3.9gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good to fair. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. A large bruises can be seen to the edge of the padlock. Nibbles visible to garnet. Vacant panel to reverse. Gold to front of locket tests as 9ct gold, back tests as 4ct and can not be considered as gold.
