A late 19th century gold gem-set ring and an early 20th century 9ct gold peridot bar brooch. The ring set with an oval-shape amethyst with split pearl floral sides, the brooch set with a circular-shape peridot. Length of brooch 7.6cms. Weight 5.7gms.

The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The band has been repaired/resized with minor discolouration. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue for Coloured Gemstones. The amethyst is foil back and appears a medium light pinkish purple hue. Moderate abrasions. The peridot is a medium yellowish green hue. Significant abrasions. The split pearls appear well matched. Ring size N 1/2.
