A late 19th century 18ct gold gem-set brooch. The circular foil-back garnet cabochon, with central split pearl star motif, to the white coral bead and cannetille double surround. Diameter 4.4cms. Weight 26gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The reverse has a glazed panel and a loop for pendant, pendant deficient. Surface scratches to gilt finish. The garnet foil backing shows deterioration, minor surface scratches. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue for Coloured Gemstones.
