A late 19th century 9ct gold amethyst necklace. Designed as a series of graduated oval-shape amethysts, to the partially concealed clasp. Length 33.5cms. Weight 25.5gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair. The mounts of the stones appear to be late 19th century, however the stones all appear to be possible replacements. The amethysts vary in colour, some have a much stronger saturation of colour, there are inclusions to many visible with the unaided eye. There are chips to the facet edges of some.
