Condition Report
Overall condition good to fair. Some surface wear in keeping with age. There are some light dents and scratches to the reverse. Evidence of repair/alteration. There may have originally been a brooch pin that has been removed and replaced with a suspension loop. Stamps rubbed, pitting and solder to areas of the reverse. Amethyst purple with moderate colour saturation, fairly good clarity with typical inclusions to include colour zoning. Amethyst in fair condition with scratches and abrasion to the facets. Please see Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue for coloured gemstones. Front tests as 18ct gold, back tests as 15ct gold, suspension loop appears to be a different colour to the rest of the gold.
