Lot Description
A mid 20th century continental silver diamond and synthetic sapphire clip. Of openwork design, the five circular synthetic sapphire cabochons, within a rose-cut diamond scalloped and asymmetric surround, to the metal back fitting. Length 3.1cms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair. There are scratches and areas of distinct discolouration to the setting, the back clip is a replacement, the colour of the metal differs. There are some areas of abrasion to one of the synthetic sapphires. The larger diamond has been replaced with a round brilliant diamond that has been set crown first. There are easily visible inclusions to some of the diamonds visible with magnification, individual size and/or setting prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment.
Several of the settings may need to be secured.
