Overall condition good to fair. Some surface wear and tarnishing in keeping with general wear. Cultured pearls creamy yellow colour, with rose and greenish overtones. Fairly good skins with some surface blemishes. Fairly good lustre. Pearls vary slightly in appearance with slightly differing overtones and hues. The necklace is stiff and has been previously re-strung very tightly, there is yellowing to the nylon thread, we would recommend re-stringing. Without the aid of laboratory equipment, it has not been possible to determine if these cultured pearls are from a fresh or saltwater source. Due to the closed back settings and nature of the rose-cut it is not possible to calculate a total diamond weight. Individual size prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Inclusions visible, some are surface reaching. Diamonds in fair condition with some abrasion and nibbles. Clasp in good working order.
