A late 19th century gold diamond and gem-set brooch. Designed as an alternating old-cut diamond and circular-shape sapphire horseshoe with central seed pearl highlight, to the knife-edge double bar with similarly-set terminals. Estimated total diamond weight 0.40ct. Length 4.5cms. Weight 5gms.

The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. General discolouration. The diamonds appear bright and moderately well matched. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. Some small nicks and chips. Slight variation in colour grades.
