A mid 20th century continental diamond and sapphire pendant. Of floral design, the circular-shape sapphire, within an old-cut diamond openwork surround, to the old-cut diamond suspension loop, may be worn as a brooch. Estimated total diamond weight 2cts. Length 3.7cms. Weight 9.6gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. Sapphire blue with moderate colour saturation. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions, some of which are surface reaching. Sapphire in good to fair condition with minor abrasion and some small nibbles. Please see Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue for coloured gemstones. Diamonds bright and well matched. Individual size and setting prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Scattered, mainly light coloured inclusions visible under 10x magnification, some are surface reaching. Diamonds in good condition with minor abrasion, some have nibbles. Brooch fitting in good working order.
