A selection of gemstones, to include nine oval opal cabochons, five oval-shape sapphires and a selection of rubies. Weights 11.57, 4.72 and 4.12cts respectively.

Condition Report

Opals are pale colour with play-of-colour. Good condition with minor abrasion, one opal has internal fractures. Sapphires range from medium to dark blue. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions. Fair condition with some abrasion, nibbles to the girdle, one stone has a large nibble to the table facet edge. Rubies are marquise-cut (total 3.87cts) and rectangular-shape (total 0.25ct).
