A late 19th century diamond star brooch. Designed as a twelve-rayed star, set throughout with old, circular, single and rose-cut diamonds, to the old-cut diamond centre. Estimated total diamond weight 1.40cts. Length 3.3cms. Weight 11gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Minor surface wear and tarnishing in keeping with age. Some replacement diamonds. Diamonds bright and fairly well matched, some are drawing slightly more of a yellow hue than others. Individual size or setting prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Inclusions visible under 10x magnification. Some inclusions are surface reaching. Diamonds in good to fair condition with some abrasion, nicks and nibbles. With possible replacement brooch and hinged suspension loop fitting. Fittings in good working order.
