A stainless steel manual wind gentleman's military issue Jaeger-LeCoultre wrist watch, the black dial with hourly applied white Arabic numerals, bordered by a minute track with luminous divisions at five minute intervals, round case, stamped LeCoultre Co., fitted to a non-original grey "NATO" style nylon strap, signed calibre 488/Sbr and stamped with British broad arrow. Case diameter 35mm.

Jaeger LeCoultre wrist watch, manual wind movement is currently functioning, movement shows marks and scratches, dial shows marks, dial appears to show traces of the British broad arrow between the centre and six o'clock which may have been painted over or removed, dial shows discolouration to the luminous inserts, hands show marks and scratches, luminous inserts show discolouration, hour hand shows a hole in the luminous insert, glass has marks and scratches, case has marks and scratches as a result of general wear, case also shows some dints, visible scratches to the rear, back appears to have been polished in the past, inner case cover shows some visible scratches, case show dents between the lugs, spring bars show possible replacements and repair, crown has scratches and small dints, strap appears to be in good, as new, condition with some creasing.
Due to the opening of this case back we recommend that this watch is sealed by an authorised technician before use near water.
