A Victorian 18ct gold key wind open face pocket watch, the gilt dial with decoration to the centre, hourly applied Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, round case, engine turned decoration to the rear with engraved cartouche, hallmarked London 1840, fitted with an unsigned fusee and chain movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 41mm. Total weight 53gms.

Key wind open face pocket watch, movement is not functioning, balance appears fine, hairspring is slightly bunched, train is jammed, dial shows light marks and scratches under inspection, hands are discoloured and marked, glass is scratched and shwoing residue, case has medium scratches from use, case back is scratched and showing small personal engraving of initials, bow and pendant are scratched.
