A late 19th century 18ct gold painted miniature scenic brooch. The oval-shape copper plaque depicting an Alpine scene, within a foliate surround, written verso "Un Chalet dans les Alpes" and initialled LH. Length 6cms. Weight 15gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. The enamel has some light surface scratches. The surround is mostly 18ct gold, with a thin base metal core, as was common practice at the time. Replacement base metal fittings, slight discolouration. Slight wear to the mount.
